This Privacy Notice explains how Boas Natanael Hvalic (“we”, “us”) collects and uses personal data when you use Admilang. We act as the data controller for the personal data described below.

Data we collect

  • Account data: name, email, password (hashed), authentication identifiers from Google sign-in.
  • Profile data: display name, avatar, learning preferences.
  • Learning data: lesson progress, review history, answers, mastery state.
  • Support messages: any content you send us.
  • Technical data: device, browser, IP address, basic usage telemetry.

Why we use it

  • To create and manage your account (contractual necessity).
  • To deliver the learning experience and track your progress (contractual necessity).
  • To prevent fraud and keep the Service secure (legitimate interests).
  • To improve the Service (legitimate interests).
  • To respond to support requests (contractual necessity).
  • To comply with legal obligations.

Who we share data with

  • Service providers (subprocessors): hosting, database, authentication and analytics providers.
  • Paddle — our Merchant of Record — for sale of the product, subscription management, payments, tax compliance, and invoicing.
  • Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where necessary.
  • Authorities where required by law.

International transfers

Some of our service providers are located outside the UK / EEA. Where that is the case, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.

How long we keep data

We keep account and learning data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law (for example, billing records).

Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, or object to processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent or lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the in-app support channel. We respond within one month.

Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures (including encryption in transit and access controls) to protect your personal data.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies / local storage for authentication and app functionality. We do not use marketing cookies.
